NORWALK – It is with great energy and enthusiasm that California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Member Services Representative Shelley Bishop travels up and down the highways in Southern California to meet with new and veteran CSLEA members.
“I have the wonderful opportunity of introducing CSLEA to people new to our unit and stopping by to check in with our veteran members, said Bishop. “We have a great group of public safety and consumer protection professionals. Having served on the CSLEA Board of Directors, and as an affiliate president, I know firsthand the important role CSLEA has in protecting its members.”
On December 2, 2016, Bishop visited Metropolitan State Hospital and welcomed new employees William Duman and Lloyd Sandil, both hospital police officers, and Hospital Police Dispatcher Larra Reyes. Following the new employee orientation, Bishop stopped to visit with other hospital police officers, a dispatcher, and investigators.
“I also had the chance on November 30th to travel to Chatsworth to visit with Department of Consumer Affairs Investigators and CSLEA Members Cristina Vazquez, Scott Vredenburgh and Gary Vergara, who is a supervisor. It’s a perfect way for CSLEA to check in and to see if there is anything our members need assistance with.”
