There is a feeling of sadness throughout our State Park Peace Officer family as we experience and mourn the loss of State Park Ranger Peace Officer Blake Bonham. Ranger Bonham, 41, passed away January 9, 2017, after a brave battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Ammie, their young son Cash, his extended family, friends and our brothers and sisters at State Parks.
In an effort to help Ranger Bonham’s family with funeral expenses, a Blake Bonham’s Memorial Fund has been set up through gofundme. Separately, RPPOA has donated $2,000.
We know this is an extremely painful and sad time for the Bonham family and we offer our thoughts and prayers. Any gestures of support, no matter how small, monetary or not, go a long way at a time like this.
We will miss Blake, may he now rest in peace and may his family know they are supported by an incredible group of law enforcement officers.
