SACRAMENTO – The California Association of Criminal Investigators (CACI) would like to congratulate its members who participated in the 2017 Baker to Vegas Challenge Relay Cup.

“From runners to shuttle drivers, this was really a team effort and a great sense of camaraderie within the California Department of Insurance, and among all law enforcement teams” said CACI President Dennis Maffei.  “Team 239, the California Department of Insurance, Enforcement Branch was truly impressive in this 120-mile, 20 stage race.  We were proud to contribute to their support and be there to cheer them on.”

The team, led by CACI Members, Captains James Potts and Alvin Hernandez, finished the run from Baker, California to Las Vegas in 19 hours, 39 minutes and 5 seconds.
