VICTORVILLE – On April 12-13, 2017, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Member Services Representative Shelley Bishop visited CSLEA members who work as Licensing Registration Examiners (LRE) at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Victorville and Hemet.
“Shelley is a very personable CSLEA representative and served as an officer on our CSLEA board,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “She is very knowledgeable about all things CSLEA and how we can best help our members. I know she listened to our members in Hemet and Victorville and will report back to us regarding any possible items that need our attention, or that should be on our radar. Our thanks to our members who shared their concerns or issues with us.”
In Hemet, Bishop met with Trend Leota who has seven years’ experience as an LRE, Matthew Aponte who is a new LRE but has worked in another DMV position for five years, and Erika Jimenez-Macedo who has worked as an LRE for three years.
Bishop met with LRE Charles Umlor in Victorville. He is the only LRE in Victorville at this time.
