ATASCADERO -On April 14, 2017, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Member Services Representatives Chris Scrimiger and Jim Laughlin met with newly hired police officers at Atascadero State Hospital.

State Hospitals operate like a small city and have a similar public safety mission that includes the safety and protection of the mentally ill and/or the criminally insane, the protection of hospital visitors and the hospital staff who provide treatment, and the security and protection of the state hospital facility.

CSLEA and the Hospital Police Association of California (HPAC) would like to welcome Police Officers Flemming Dahlerup and William Harris to their new law enforcement careers  working at Atascadero State Hospital.
