RIVERSIDE – On April 27, 2017, representatives from the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and Association of Criminalists-Department of Justice (AC-DOJ) President John Miller (via Skype) met with 17 criminalists at the BFS Riverside Regional Laboratory to discuss issues that have arisen and are of concern to DOJ criminalists.
“There has been a lot going on with recent propositions that voters have passed, concerns about future work at BFS labs and salaries,” said Miller. “I thank AC-DOJ Board Member and Southern Representative Sonya Botero for her great work in assisting to set up this meeting. Also thank you to CSLEA Senior Attorney Jim Vitko and CSLEA Membership Services Representative Shelley Bishop for personally being at the lab to assist with our outreach meeting.”
