CSLEA Greets New CDFW Employees at Orientation

SACRAMENTO – On July 17, 2017, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Member Services Representative George Pina met with three new CSLEA members and one current member, all lateral transfers, looking forward to becoming California Department of Fish and Wildlife wardens.

“I enjoyed my time meeting these law enforcement officers and explaining our benefits and services and why the CSLEA Legal Defense Fund (LDF) is so important, given the jobs they will be doing,” said Pina.  “When you’re in the business of protecting and saving lives, you need to know you have legal protection should a circumstance arise.  CSLEA has a proven LDF that it is extremely proud of.  And, our Legal Defense Hotline is readily available 24-7 on our CSLEA mobile app.”

On behalf of CSLEA Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 77, and its affiliate, the Resource Protection Peace Officers Association (RPPOA), Pina welcomed to membership:  Barry Powell, Justin Rhoades, and Andrew Nelson, and thanked Ian Hoehn for his continued membership.
