CSLEA - FMESA Member Rescues Parapalegic Man From Burning Home DSFM Shane Wilson says there were many heroes

SACRAMENTO -  Shane Wilson has many titles to his name.  He is a CALFIRE Deputy State Fire Marshal, Chief of the Rio Dell Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and its affiliate Fire Marshal and Emergency Services Association (FMESA).  After rescuing a man from a burning home, you can add "hero" to that list.

"I am getting a lot of the spotlight for this event but I want to make it very clear that this was a complete group effort." Wilson wrote on the Rio Dell Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page.

Below are clickable links to a news article that explains how Wilson was in a lead vehicle of a parade when the fire call came out, and how he rescued a man from a burning home, followed by Wilson's comments on the facebook page.
