VALLEJO –  On August 11, 2017, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Membership Services Representative Jim Laughlin conducted a New Employee Orientation (NEO) for six new motor carrier specialists at the California Highway Patrol facility in Vallejo.

“Motor carrier specialists have the important job of carefully inspecting commercial vehicles and therefore making our roads safer for our families,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona.  “There’s a motor carrier specialist on each CHP Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) investigating some of the grisliest of accidents in this state.  The spotlight doesn’t often shine on these CHP professionals, but it should.”

CSLEA, and its affiliate Association of Motor Carrier Operation Specialists, extends a warm welcome to new members:
