PORTERVILLE – On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) hosted a membership outreach BBQ at Porterville Developmental Center.
The Porterville Developmental Center provides treatment for the profoundly developmentally disabled. The Developmental Center employs a broad band of public safety employees including firefighters, hospital police officers and investigators, all represented by CSLEA.
The BBQ lunch is one way CSLEA thanks its valued and hardworking members at Porterville Developmental Center for their membership and their dedicated work to keep staff, patients and the public safe.
The lunchtime event also gives CSLEA representatives a change to speak with members in a social setting about any workplace concerns they may have. Hospital Police Association of California (HPAC) President Luis Jimenez and Secretary Mike Hakker had an opportunity to meet with their members. CSLEA Supervising Legal Counsel David De La Riva also assisted in the outreach event.
