OAKLAND – On August 6, 2018, the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and the California Organization of Licensing Registration Examiners (COLRE) hosted a new employee orientation for five new Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) licensing registration examiners (LREs) in Oakland. The new hires were given a presentation about the many benefits and services available to members of CSLEA.
COLRE President Enrique Razo and Vice President Tim McCullough also met with the new members and discussed current LRE updates and answered questions.
“Association membership is especially important for public employees,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “Not only does membership provide job protection and other benefits and services, we are in a constant battle to preserve pensions. We are stronger when we stand together.”
CSLEA and COLRE would like to welcome Patricia Dolan, Patrick Blanson, Simoa Loia, Gerald Frost and Latasha Smith to their new careers in public safety and to CSLEA and COLRE membership.
