SANTA ROSA –  On October 25, 2018, the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) conducted a membership outreach meeting  with 15 special investigators with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at their annual conference in Santa Rosa.

DIR special investigators conduct complex investigations into businesses pertaining to workers compensation insurance, safety and the underground economy.  DIR special investigators interview victims, review records, and prepare cases for prosecution of individuals and businesses that break labor laws.  DIR special investigators also assist victims by placing liens on non-compliant businesses.

CSLEA thanks these hard-working professionals who keep Californians safe in the workplace.
