SACRAMENTO – On November 9, 2018 CAL FIRE posted an Examination Bulletin for the open positions of Communications Operator. The final filing date is December 12, 2018.
“We are asking our FMESA members, and those interested in emergency services and response, for help in spreading the word about this exciting career opportunity,” said FMESA President Daren Watkins. “The job of Communications Operator is very rewarding, but it comes with challenges given the 24-hour nature of public safety. We need dedicated individuals who want to be at the ready for Californians in need of emergency help. Recruitment is key as we currently have a shortage of Com-Ops at CAL FIRE.”
