SACRAMENTO – The California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) would like to welcome some of its newest members who joined CSLEA January 7- 11, 2019 during new employee orientations in Sacramento and Oroville.
“New employee orientations conducted by CSLEA attorneys and affiliate directors are a great way for all of us to meet for the first time,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “Last week our attorneys and affiliate directors met with Fish and Wildlife wardens, Office of Emergency Services emergency services coordinators and Department of Motor Vehicles licensing registration examiners. I want CSLEA members, new and veteran, to have an active role in what we do.”
New employee orientations allow state workers new to Bargaining Unit 7 to meet with CSLEA attorneys to learn more about:
- who represents them,
- who to call when there is a workplace concern,
- CSLEA benefits,
- CSLEA services,
- The CSLEA exclusive discounts program,
- Scholarship opportunities,
- And Fraternal Order of Police membership.
“Now more than ever, workers must unite and show their strength,” said Barcelona. “At CSLEA, it is our jobs to protect our members, their rights, and solve workplace issues. We want to hear from our members, we want them to take an active role. Thank you to our CSLEA attorneys who are personally meeting new members and paving the way!”
