SACRAMENTO – As an introduction to new members, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) attorneys met with CHP motor carrier specialists, CALFIRE communications operators and Cal OES emergency service coordinators throughout California February 19-25, 2019.
“Thank you to our attorneys who are conducting new employee orientations throughout the state,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “Our attorneys are directly connected to our members, so it makes sense to have them represent CSLEA when new state employees have the opportunity to meet their union and find out what we are all about.”
New employee orientations give CSLEA a chance to showcase its benefits and services and answer questions new members may have. Among the items of interest to members are CSLEA’s free basic $15,000 life insurance benefit, a proven Legal Defense Fund, representation when needed, easy access to a CSLEA attorney, scholarship opportunities and the CSLEA Exclusive Member Discount Program.
On February 19th – CSLEA Senior Counsel Andrea Perez visited with new Cal OES emergency service coordinators, including new member Byron Green in Rancho Cordova
On February 22nd – CSLEA Counsel Stacy Olsen met with new CHP Motor Carrier Specialists and new members Mark Garcia and Michael Bentiste at CHP Inland Division.
On February 25th – CSLEA Supervising Counsel Dave De La Riva met with CALFIRE communications operators in San Diego.
