OXNARD – California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) members attending the 2019 membership conference enjoyed an informative “Know Your Rights” class on March 8, 2019 in Oxnard.
The class informed members on basic estate planning, ENDI, NDI, FMLA, their rights to their personnel files, write-ups, employee investigations and supplemental insurance.
Those in attendance had the opportunity to ask questions both in class and following class.
Instructors included CSLEA Senior Counsel Ryan Navarre and Counsel Stacy Olsen, CHP-PSDA Directors Gina Walls and Alana Haddock, Allstate Representative Jay McDonnell and California Casualty Representative Jeff Myers.
“It was nice to see close to 90 members investing their afternoon in their careers, their futures, and the financial care of their families,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “This has been a very enjoyable conference watching our affiliate directors and members taking an interest in what’s right and wrong in the workplace, how they can correct issues and be a positive part of the solution. Our instructors had a great time sharing this information and our members had a lot of great questions. Thank you to all.”
