CSLEA Meets 11 New Members at CHP Training Facility in Riverside

RIVERSIDE – On April 16, 2019, the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and its affiliate CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) welcomed 11 new CHP dispatchers to union membership.  CSLEA Counsel Stacy Olsen and CHP-PSDA Secretary/Treasurer Steve Fulton conducted a New Employee Orientation (NEO) introducing the 11 to CSLEA and CHP-PSDA.

“These public safety professionals are embarking upon a profession that the public highly relies on,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona.  “They will experience a range of stresses and emotions throughout their training and their careers.  I thank them for joining our public safety family and for serving communities throughout the state.”

The lunchtime meeting was a chance for the new dispatchers to learn about the services CSLEA and CHP-PSDA provide for members and to be personally introduced to their representatives.
