SACRAMENTO – California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) attorneys welcome the chance to meet with new state workers in Bargaining Unit 7 and to introduce them to the benefits, services and resources available to them as CSLEA members, and that’s exactly what CSLEA Senior Counsels Ryan Navarre and Jim Vitko had the opportunity to do on June 10, 2019.
Both attorneys met with new Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) licensing registration examiners. Navarre held a new employee orientation at DMV headquarters in Sacramento and Vitko conducted a new employee orientation at the DMV in Riverside.
“At CSLEA, it is important to us to know our members. New employee orientations conducted by our attorneys allows us to put faces with names and allows our newest members to do the same,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “We get the opportunity to explain what we do, why we do it and how members can become active in their union. Welcome to our newest members, be safe out on the roads as you test individuals’ driving skills and knowledge of the rules of the road. Your job is a dangerous one but contributes greatly to our safety out on the road. Thank you. for your service.”
