SAN LUIS OBISPO – On July 22, 2019, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Counsel Stacy Olsen visited public safety dispatchers at the California Highway Patrol Communication Center in San Luis Obispo. The visit was an opportunity for Olsen to greet dispatchers, inquire if there were any concerns and to discuss the tentative agreement that CSLEA reached with the state and in which CSLEA members are currently voting on whether to ratify.
The tentative agreement includes an expanded $300 monthly CHP Recruitment and Retention Differential. The differential, currently provided to dispatchers and operators at Golden Gate, Sacramento, Capitol, Monterey, Border, and Los Angeles Communication Centers is expanded to include Orange County, Ukiah, Humboldt, Chico, Ventura, San Luis Obispo, and Indio Communications Centers.
