RIVERSIDE – On September 24, 2019 California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Counsel Stacy Olsen and CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) Secretary-Treasurer Steve Fulton conducted a new employee orientation for new dispatchers training at the Ben Clark Training Center in Riverside.
“This is an enjoyable part of our jobs, meeting public safety professionals as they begin their careers, introducing ourselves and talking about the job protection, benefits and services that CSLEA and CHP-PSDA offer to members,” said Olsen. “Our dispatcher-members are an active and involved group and we work very closely with them to come up with solutions in their workplace and with their supervisors.”
“There’s simply no stronger voice to support you than your union,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “CSLEA’s legal team and staff are always on hand to answer questions and to step in and assist. Our members need to know we are just a phone call or email away. Never let a situation fester at work, reach out to us at the first hint of a problem or conflict. Take advantage of our benefits and services, we are here for you.”
