$100 is Yours, When You Sponsor the Membership of any Bargaining Unit 7 Non-Member*
Simply put, if your colleagues are not union members, they're missing out on representation, benefits, special rate insurance coverage, travel & entertainment discounts, scholarship opportunities, career and workplace guidance from CSLEA attorneys, and knowing they are doing their part to strengthen the working class, and to protect pensions and benefits.
Unfortunately, there is no longer the option to forego the benefits of full membership and pay a fee to cover the costs of collective bargaining and enforcement of the contract. Therefore, in order to make sure that CSLEA has the resources to enhance the wages and benefits of all employees in Unit 7, it is imperative that all eligible employees share equally in the cost of furnishing these benefits.
Here's How It Works!
If your Unit 7 colleagues are not members of CSLEA and sign up using your name as their "sponsor" - CSLEA will thank you with $100 per new membership! Ask around! CSLEA members receive enormous benefits including a $15,000 basic life insurance policy and a top-notch, proven Legal Defense Fund, that, as a consumer protection or public safety employee, no one should be without. CSLEA members also receive access to scholarships, the CSLEA Exclusive Member Discounts Program and the Fraternal Order of Police benefits program.

Who's eligible to be a sponsor in the Enhanced Member Sponsorship Program? Any CSLEA member including CSLEA Board Members, Affiliate Directors and Site Representatives.
*This limited time offer excludes individuals who sign up for membership at formal CSLEA new employee orientations (NEOs). Sponsors of Seasonal Lifeguard empoyees are eligible for $50.00 per sponsorship.
