SACRAMENTO – California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) licensing registration examiners receiving training in Sacramento on December 2, 2019 had the opportunity to meet with California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Legal Counsel Ryan Navarre for a new employee orientation.
“Licensing registration examiners are in just one of the job classifications represented by CSLEA that are assigned to me,” said Navarre. “I like conducting new employee orientations because it gives me the opportunity to personally meet those I will be working closely with throughout their careers.”
Licensing registration examiners are represented by CSLEA and its affiliate, the California Organization of Licensing Registration Examiners (COLRE).
New employee orientations are conducted to introduce state workers in Bargaining Unit 7 to CSLEA and the benefits of membership. All four LREs who attended the new employee orientation are members of CSLEA, including new members Heidi Ardito, Laura Chhin and Danielle Newton.
“It was a pleasure meeting with our members, answering questions, discussing what other LREs have encountered in their jobs, and what role I have in helping them. Welcome to COLRE and CSLEA!”
