COVINA – When children in Covina met at the Man-e Moreno Foundation 212 Training Center for an ugly Christmas sweater party on December 27, 2019, they were treated to lots of fun, games, and prizes, including a special something donated by the California Association of Criminal Investigators (CACI).
The Man-e Moreno Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting and meeting the emotional, spiritual, and relational needs of people who have lost a family member or friend to an act of violence.
“The foundation’s ugly Christmas sweater party focuses on positive entertainment and surroundings for youth,” said CACI Member James Potts. “They take a proactive approach serving families in the San Gabriel Valley area. I am thankful to CACI for providing In & Out Burger gift cards as prizes for games that were played throughout the night. CACI has a positive working relationship with the Man-e Moreno Foundation / 212 Training Center as the Foundation has helped in sponsoring CACI’s Baker to Vegas Team for the last 11 years. I want CACI members to know of the good CACI does and encourage members to become involved in their communities.”
