SACRAMENTO – On January 27, 2020 new California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) licensing registration examiners training at the DMV annex in Sacramento, attended a California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) new employee orientation conducted by CSLEA Senior Counsel Andrea Perez.
The purpose of the orientation is to introduce CSLEA and its affiliate California Organization of Licensing Registration Examiners (COLRE) to employees who are new to Bargaining Unit 7.
“CSLEA meets with state employees in Bargaining unit 7, preferably in person, to demonstrate our commitment to representing them on items big or small,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “We want them to know us by name, by face and by phone number or email. We are that accessible. We want them to know what is to be a member of CSLEA and why it is so important to their futures as state employees. We offer a wide variety of benefits and services, including a free $15,000 life insurance benefit, as well as generous scholarship opportunities.”
At the orientation, Perez welcomed new CSLEA members Amarjit Bijala, Adrianna Foster, Latoya Ketchum and Karin Meadows who will be working at DMV offices in Sacramento, Yuba City, Manteca and Folsom.
