New Police Officers at MSH See the Value in Union Membership

NORWALK -  At a new employee orientation held at Metropolitan State Hospital (MSH) on February 4, 2020, four new hospital police officers met with California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and Hospital Police Association of California (HPAC) representatives to discuss union membership.

The new officers met with CSLEA Supervising Counsel Dave De La Riva, HPAC President Luis Jimenez, HPAC Director Ezra Cosby and MSH Site Representative Jose Leal.

“A hospital police officer’s career is typically not uneventful, therefore we want to be sure to meet with the new officers to explain why having on your side - a union, its team of attorneys and its legal defense fund – is a smart choice,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona.  “We welcome the officers to the CSLEA HPAC family and look forward to serving them as they protect MSH patients, staff, visitors and the surrounding community.”
