CSLEA Meets with LREs at First Driving Performance Evaluation Training Since March Drive Test Cancellations

SACRAMENTO – On July 13, 2020, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Counsel Ryan Navarre conducted a new employee orientation for California Department of Motor Vehicles licensing registration examiners training in Sacramento.  This was the first driving performance evaluation training the DMV has conducted since drive tests were cancelled in March as a result of the pandemic.

“It’s nice to meet our newest members face to face and we were very mindful of physical distancing and wearing facial coverings,” said Navarre.  “As our newest members embark upon their very important public safety careers as examiners, they now have been introduced to their union and know who to contact with questions and concerns.”

The licensing registration examiners learned of CSLEA benefits and services and the importance of having union membership and the job insurance it provides.
