Welcome CAL FIRE Communications Operators Training in El Cajon

EL CAJON -  There’s a lot going on in terms of wildfires in California, but that’s not scaring away those who are working to become CAL FIRE communication operators.  California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Supervising Counsel Dave De La Riva stopped by to introduce himself and the union to three communication  operators s training in El Cajon on September 22, 2020.

“CAL FIRE communications operators have a very important role in keeping us safe and getting emergency response crews where they need to be, not just during wildfire season, but all year long,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona.  “We at CSLEA recently heard from one of our members currently working as a CAL FIRE communications operator, expressing how much she loved her job and her career.  We wish the same for our newest members and are here to help them along the way.”
