RANCHO CUCAMONGA – Congratulations to California Department of Insurance (CDI) Detective Jo Barbo on her retirement on February 17, 2021! Barbo, a long-time member of the California Association of Criminal Investigators (CACI) and the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) was presented with a CSLEA/CACI plaque and a shadowbox for her 30 years of State service.
As a CDI detective, Barbo has been on several task force assignments including the Auto Insurance Fraud Task Force (AIFTF Urban Grant), SANCATT (San Bernardino County Auto Theft Task Force) and other various assignments. Barbo has been a member of CACI and CSLEA throughout her State service.
“Due to COVID restrictions, on February 16th, we had a farewell drive-by for Jo at the Inland Empire Regional Office where she was presented with a union plaque and shadow box from her co-workers,” said CACI Representative and Colleague James Potts. “Jo expressed how grateful she was for CACI sponsoring her to participate in various law enforcement activities such as Baker to Vegas and Le Tour De Fuzz which is a 35 mile bicycle ride to support law enforcement.”
