RANCHO CORDOVA – In an effort to stay in touch with State Parks communications operators, new and veteran, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) representatives visited the State Parks communications center in Rancho Cordova on March 3, 2021.
“We had the opportunity to meet with one of our newest union members, Christina Lopez, who is training to become a State Parks communications operator, as well as some of our veteran communications operators,” said CSLEA Senior Counsel Andrea Perez. “Joining me were Tina Brazil who is senior vice president at CSLEA and president of the CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association, as well as Victor Tovar, vice president of CHP-PSDA. It was great for us to get out, say hello, and answer any questions.”
Since the pandemic, most CSLEA office visits and new employee orientations have been conducted through video conference. “We look forward to seeing our members in person, but we haven’t missed a step in staying in contact,” said Perez. “We want our members to know we are still hard at work and ready to help. Thank you to those who continue to reach out to us!”
