CSLEA’s Andrea Perez Meets with New Cal OES Emergency Services Coordinators

SACRAMENTO – On March 9, 2021, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Counsel Andrea Perez conducted a new employee orientation with two new emergency services coordinators at Cal OES.

“It was a pleasure to speak with Jasen Vela who will be working in Sacramento County and Chris Valenzono who will be working in Orange County,” said Perez.  “Today, I got to meet with them via video conference and introduce them to their union representative, their benefits as union members, and the work we do to assist our CSLEA members.”

CSLEA representatives routinely conduct new employee orientations as employees assigned to Bargaining Unit 7 begin their new jobs.

“Not everyone is familiar with state service, and if you’re just starting out, it can be daunting, that’s why we like to stop by or drop in electronically to introduce ourselves and assist them by answering questions.  We wish Jasen and Chris the best at their new jobs!”
