SACRAMENTO – April 11-17, 2021 is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week and the CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) is not letting it go unnoticed!
“Our CHP dispatchers and operators work incredibly hard all year long,” said CHP-PSDA President Tina Brazil. “This is a week when the spotlight is on their first responder work and how truly impressive public safety dispatchers and operators really are. So, we wanted to say thank you.”
During the week CHP-PSDA representatives from the Border, Inland, and Southern Division visited the Barstow and Bishop Communication Centers. On behalf of CHP-PSDA, they brought food for the center and a gift for each dispatcher, acknowledging them for the important public safety work they do and letting them know they are very much appreciated.
In addition, CHP-PSDA sent gifts to every CHP Communications Center for every dispatcher and operator during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week
“I would like to thank our CHP-PSDA representatives Steve Fulton, Alana Haddock, and Sakeena Freeny for their efforts in making this week special for our members,” said Brazil. “They volunteer much time and consideration to our fellow dispatchers and operators as do all of the CHP-PSDA directors. Happy National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, every one!”
