RANCHO CUCAMONGA – On June 3, 2021, California Association of Fraud Investigators (CAFI) President Bruce Todd and California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Legal Counsel Jim Vitko met with California Department of Insurance (CDI) special investigators in Rancho Cucamonga.
Due to COVID restrictions, special investigators from other Southern California offices also participated via video conference. Special investigators were provided updates on expected side letter revisions and conducted a spirited discussion involving recent policy changes at the Department of Insurance.
According to CSLEA Legal Counsel JimVitko, “It was great to get out and meet with members again. We will be taking a look at the issues raised and will reach out to CDI management in hopes of addressing our members concerns.”
CAFI President Todd expects to conduct a similar meeting for his Northern California members and CSLEA will also be hosting site representative training for Special Investigators in the near future.
