Mendocino County Jury Convicts Sacramento Man in DUI Case California DOJ criminalists assisted in investigation

UKIAH- On July 22, 2021, after just 15 minutes of deliberations, a Mendocino County Superior Court jury found Michael Patrick Pimental, 27, of Sacramento, guilty of both misdemeanor driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and misdemeanor driving a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol .08 or greater.

The evidence presented at trial was that Pimental’s blood alcohol content level at the time of his driving was .12/.12.  It is illegal to drive any motor vehicle with a blood alcohol .08 or greater.

Pimental was ordered to return to court on August 11, 2021 for judgment and sentencing.
