CHP-PSDA’s Steve Fulton Welcomes Two New Members in Riverside

By CHP-PSDA Secretary/Treasurer Steve Fulton

RIVERSIDE – Two new members joined the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and its affiliate the CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association on August 24, 2021 at the CHP Ben Clark Training Center.  The new members are training to become Public Safety Dispatchers.

I gave a presentation to them including the benefits, advantages, and protections of union membership.  Both new members to CSLEA were former state employees so they already knew some of the benefits of union membership.  I outlined some of the differences our union has to offer such as immediate access to attorneys.   They both agreed to join the fight to protect our pay and benefits.  The new members are:

Crysta Williams from the Inland Communications Center

Jennifer Perez from the Los Angeles Communications Center

Crysta and Jennifer are both on their way to being fine dispatchers and I welcome them to the team!
