On September 28, 2021, CSLEA and CalHR executed a side letter which provides a stipend for employees on approved telework assignments. The agreement establishes effective October 1, 2021, employees who work from home 50% or more are eligible for a $50 per month stipend. Employees who work more than 50% from their assigned office location are eligible for a $25 per month stipend. Incidental work from home does not qualify for the benefit and employees need not provide receipts of their incurred work-related expenses in order to qualify.
