SACRAMENTO – California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) site representatives are an important part of work place solutions and an extension of CSLEA, that’s why CSLEA attorneys conduct site representative classes for those interested in becoming more involved with the union and the way things work on the job.
In October, CSLEA Senior Counsel Andrea Perez conducted site representative classes via video conference on the 19th and 25th.
“It’s always a pleasure to assist our members in learning more about what we do at CSLEA and how they can become an important extension of that in order to help make improvements at work,” said Perez. “We go over important information about when and how site representatives can intervene without repercussions from supervisors, the grievance process, how legislation can be an avenue in some cases, etc. We are very appreciative of the work our site reps do and value the very important lines of communication that we have with them.”
Participants in the classes included CSLEA members working at CHP, Department of Insurance, Office of Emergency Services and Department of Public Health.
