WEST SACRAMENTO – On November 15, 2021, CHP dispatchers training at the CHP academy in West Sacramento met with representatives from the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) for a new employee orientation.
The orientation allows representatives from the union to introduce themselves, present the benefits and services of union membership and answer any questions the dispatchers may have.
“CHP public safety dispatchers have a difficult and all-consuming job and we want to be sure to let them know that they have a safety net,” said CSLEA Senior Counsel Andrea Perez. “CHP-PSDA and CSLEA are dedicated to their members and believe union membership is an important partnership. Thank you for all who attended today and for signing up for union membership.”
Attending the orientation on behalf of CSLEA was Senior Counsel Andrea Perez. Attending on behalf of CHP-PSDA was Vice President Victor Tovar.
CSLEA and CHP-PSDA welcome its newest members who will be working at CHP communications centers in Sacramento, Barstow, Fresno, Los Angeles, Orange County, Chico, San Diego, Ventura and Humboldt County.
