SACRAMENTO -On January 11, 2022, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Counsel Andrea Perez conducted a new employee orientation for new Oil Spill Prevention Specialists at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
“We are still conducting most of our new employee orientations over video conference which is proving to be a comfortable way for us to sit down and converse with employees who are new to Bargaining Unit 7 and interested in learning more about their union, CSLEA, and becoming members,” said Perez. “Joining me today were Oil Spill Prevention Specialists Danielle Aguirre from Bakersfield and Andrew Jebananthan from Sacramento. In addition, our CSLEA Site Representative Mike Melin was on the call to assist with any questions.”
Those attending CSLEA new employee orientations have the opportunity to meet union representatives and learn about how CSLEA has assisted members of their profession. The benefits and services the union provides are also discussed.
Any California State employee assigned to Bargaining Unit 7 who is not a union member and wishes to become one, can do so online here.
CSLEA extends a warm welcome to new members Dannielle Aguirre and Andrew Jebananthan.
