OXNARD – During the first week of March, California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) Senior Counsel Jim Vitko and California Organization of Licensing Registration Examiners (COLRE) President Enrique Razo visited CSLEA/COLRE members working at DMV offices in Oxnard and San Luis Obispo.
“These two visits marked the end of our long hiatus away from personal interaction with our membership,” said Razo. “Unless another catastrophic event occurs, we will gladly once again make office visits the norm.”
The union representatives met with members to address concerns, provide a union update, and answer questions.
“It was a pleasure working with Enrique and providing some member outreach to our LRE’s. Hopefully, as health concerns abate, we can continue meeting with members and addressing their concerns personally,” said Vitko.
“It was nice to meet with our members and I want to thank the dynamic duo of George Medina and Rudy Villavicencio for representing CSLEA and COLRE at the Oxnard DMV,” said Razo. “In addition, thank you to Michelle Dodd at the San Luis Obispo DMV. Michelle is currently working solo, performing every duty known to examiner kind. CDL, DPE, SDPE, and other duties as assigned. Examiners of California, let’s keep this great state rolling. The best is yet to come.”
