SACRAMENTO – On Friday, April 15, 2022, 11 California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) members attended a Basic Site Representation Training Class via videoconference in which they learned more about their union, their rights and how to take a more active role with supervisors in their workplace.
The class was conducted by CSLEA Senior Counsel Jim Vitko and Andrea Perez.
“I always enjoy conversing with our members and reviewing their rights in the workplace and discussing how to handle conflicts. I appreciate their dedication to their careers, their colleagues, and their association,” said Vitko.
“Thank you to our members who participated in this informative training,” said Perez. “It opens so many lines of communication between us and our members. Site representatives are our eyes and ears in the workplace and we greatly value their contribution to our work.”
CSLEA members in attendance work at Cal Fire, CalOES, CHP, Department of Consumer Affairs, Department of Cannabis Control, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
