SACRAMENTO – On February 23 and 24, 2023, representatives from the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and California Association of Law Enforcement Employees (CALEE) visited California Department of Justice (DOJ) security officers at DOJ offices in Sacramento.
“This was an outreach effort to speak to the officers, listen to their contract proposal suggestions, answer their questions, and share the benefits and services of the union that they may not have been aware of,” said Ricardo Sanchez, CALEE president and CSLEA chief financial officer. “I am working with my membership committee to visit our members and also to meet new employees who have not yet been introduced to our union.”
California DOJ security officers work to keep employees and the public safe from harm in and around the office buildings.
“Thank you to the officers who met with us and we also want to welcome our newest member at DOJ, a security officer who signed up for membership during our visit,” said Sanchez.
