SAN BERNARDINO – On February 28, 2023, the San Bernardino Police Department announced that as a result of five search warrants, state and local law enforcement officers discovered numerous illegal marijuana grows and a honey oil extraction lab.
The California Department of Cannabis Control, with the assistance of San Bernardino Police, served five search warrants in which they discovered several large-scale grow operations. The plants were removed and transported for destruction.
Investigating officers also located a functional and pressurized butane honey oil extraction lab which was then secured and later dismantled by the San Bernardino County IRNET team.
As a result of the search warrants:
- 6,572 plants were destroyed,
- 812 pounds of marijuana recovered
- and more than $2,000.00 in cash was seized.
The estimated street value was approximately 2.5 million dollars.
