RIVERSIDE – On June 13, 2023, CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) Secretary-Treasurer Steve Fulton conducted a new employee orientation for dispatchers at the CHP academy class at the Clark Training Center in Riverside.
Fulton provided lunch courtesy of CHP-PSDA and spoke to the nine dispatchers about the jobs they are training for and the benefits and services obtained through union membership at the California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA).
“All in attendance were given an overview of union membership and a little about what it is like to be a dispatcher,” said Fulton. “The class was presented with the reasons why membership is so important. I am happy to say, we have many new members who wanted to join the team!”
