Anza, CA – On August 22^, 2023 the Riverside County Sheriff’s Hemet’s Station reported the results of its marijuana enforcement team’s Enforcement and Prevention of Illicit Cannabis (EPIC) operations in Anza.

The operation was a multi-agency effort which included personnel from the Riverside Sheriff’s Department, California State Parks, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, California Department of Justice, and the National Guard.

Four search warrants were served, resulting in the seizure of 6,745 plants and 50 pounds of processed marijuana.

“These illegal grows can damage the environment, harm fish and wildlife and put public safety at risk.  We thank the law enforcement officers who served the warrants and seized the illegal plants and processed marijuana,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona.
