RIVERSIDE – The California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA), along with the CHP Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA), extends a very warm welcome to 12 dispatchers who are currently training at the Ben Clark Training Center in Riverside and recently signed up for union membership.
CHP-PSDA Secretary-Treasurer Steve Fulton and CSLEA Senior Counsel Jim Vitko conducted a new employee orientation for the dispatchers on August 22, 2023.
Fulton provided lunch courtesy of CHP-PSDA and spoke to the dispatchers about the jobs they are training for as well as the benefits and services obtained through CSLEA membership.
“These public safety professionals are embarking upon a very important career, serving as first responders to those in California who call 911 for assistance and/or emergency response. Their training is difficult and very detail oriented. We stand ready to assist them as their union leaders and representatives,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona.
The dispatchers are assigned to communications centers throughout California.
CSLEA and CHP-PSDA stand ready to assist them and wishes them the very best in their first-responder, public safety careers.
