LOS ANGELES – The State Fire Marshal Arson and Bomb Unit (OSFM B/U 7) is actively investigating the major fire that broke out on November 11, 2023, along Interstate 10 in Los Angeles. This incident has significantly impacted traffic and daily commute in Los Angeles, causing considerable disruption.
As the lead investigative agency, the OSFM Arson and Bomb Unit is diligently working to determine the origin and cause of the fire. The investigation is thorough and ongoing, with a focus on ensuring the safety and well-being of Los Angeles residents.
A CAL OES Assistant Chief Duty Officer coordinated with the California State Warning Center to coordinate search and rescue dogs which was vital to response and the investigation.
