LANCASTER – On March 20, 2024, the California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) announced the results of a recent DCC enforcement operation in Lancaster which included the seizure of more than $1million in illegal cannabis. The illegal cultivations operations were located in two residential houses that were red tagged due to an unusually high amount of black mold.
The DCC multi-agency operation included personnel from the Lancaster Police Department, Lancaster Hazmat, and Lancaster Public Safety.
These operations are part of the DCC’S ongoing efforts to disrupt California’s illegal cannabis market and promote a safe, sustainable and equitable legal cannabis market for all Californians.
