RIVERSIDE – On March 26, 2024, CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) Director Steve Fulton conducted a new employee orientation for CHP dispatchers at the Ben Clark Training Center in Riverside.
“These dispatchers are beginning a very important public safety career with the California Highway Patrol, so it is important that a union representative meets with them to discuss the benefits, services and protection that union membership offers,” said California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) President Alan Barcelona. “Steve Fulton routinely conducts new employee orientations at the Clark Training Center because he is very involved in the union, understands the importance of membership benefits, especially as they pertain to public safety dispatchers, and he is a CHP public safety dispatcher himself, with years of experience. We thank him for his service to the union and to CHP, and welcome our six new members who joined our CSLEA family during Fulton’s new employee orientation.”
CSLEA and CHP-PSDA extend a warm welcome to Ana Mandujano, Georgina Avila, Sergio Cortes Barragan, Joleen Roland, Edith Meraz-Morfin and Tanya Kirby. They are assigned to CHP communication centers in Los Angeles, Stockton, Monterey, San Luis Obispo and Ventura.
