RIVERSIDE – The California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) and CHP-Public Safety Dispatchers Association (CHP-PSDA) extend a warm membership welcome to 10 CHP dispatchers currently training at the Ben Clark Training Center in Riverside.
CHP-PSDA Secretary-Treasurer Steve Fulton and Southern Division Director Alana Haddock met with the dispatchers on July 16, 2024 to introduce themselves and share the benefits and services available to union members.
Union members receive guidance, representation, access to a labor attorney and a proven legal defense fund, a basic $15,000 life insurance benefit, discounts program, insurance plans at CSLEA rates, and scholarship opportunities just to name a few of the many benefits and services. Members also vote for their affiliate board of directors and vote on contracts CSLEA negotiates on their behalf.
“Welcome to CSLEA and CHP-PSDA,” said CSLEA President Alan Barcelona. “You have joined an organization that employees dedicated professionals who are passionate about your careers, wages and benefits, working conditions and your overall career happiness. Contact us any time. We are here for you and wish you the very best in your public safety career and job as a first responder.”
