SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY – On August 2, 2024, a single engine aircraft crashed in a remote area of San Joaquin County. Emergency crews were dispatched and wardens from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife were the first to arrive to assess the situation and assist the pilot who remarkably was seemingly uninjured, pulled himself out of the overturned aircraft and walked away unassisted by emergency personnel. The pilot was the only person on board.
